Belfast Funeral Home Ghost

This picture was taken when the funeral home was first opened & before any funerals had been conducted from the premises.

The following is from an article which appeared in the Belfast Newsletter in February 2007. - HAIR-RAISING TALE OF THE LADY AT THE WINDOW. You wouldn't expect an undertaker to be easily spooked, but one Belfast funeral director is losing a little sleep over a very 'spiritual' lady who has come into his life.

Stephen Love, 28, who runs a recently established undertakers on the Woodstock Road in the east of the city, had pictures taken to put on his website. Later, however, he realized that there was what appeared to be a woman standing in one of the windows of the flat, above the business - yet it was vacant at the time.

"I've never seen anything to be honest, but this whole picture thing has really spooked me out," he said. "When we were renovating the premises in August, my brother said that he felt something, but that was all. "What I see in the picture is a woman with big bouffant-type hair who looks like she's from the 1920s. The building is well over a hundred years old so I suppose that adds up.

"The man who owns the building hinted that there might have been something spooky connected with it, previous occupants noticing things, but this is a new development altogether." Stephen plans to take up residence in the flat himself next month despite his concerns. "I'm definitely still planning to move in despite this. I've a fairly open mind about these type of things. It could be just a reflection after all," he said.
